Tui Sutherland's Oreo Fluff

Tui Sutherland's Oreo Fluff

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk

16 oz. whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

16 Oreo cookies, roughly broken


Use a mixer to combine cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk, then add whipped topping and Oreo crumbles (save some to sprinkle on top). Chill until serving or eat immediately.

Author Tui T. Sutherland (pronounced twee) was born July 31, 1978, in Venezuela. She lived in Paraguay, Florida, and the Dominican Republic before moving to New Jersey in high school. Sutherland is the author of the #1 New York Times best-selling series Wings of Fire (a dragon fantasy that will have at least 15 books). She has also co-authored the Menagerie trilogy, and written 50 more books, including books she has written under pseudonyms, including Tamara Summers and Heather Williams. Sutherland is also one of four authors creating the best-selling animal fantasy Warriors and Seekers books under the name Erin Hunter.

Did you know that the number of pleats in a chef’s hat once signified the level of their experience? In the early days of French cuisine, the number of pleats were intended to represent the number of recipes a chef had mastered for a given food, like egg or chicken. Having a hat with 100 pleats meant you were a master chef. This idea also applied to the height of the hat. The taller the hat, the more a chef knew.
